24th ISU European Short Track Speed Skating Championships to be held in Debrecen

Hungary’s best Track Speed Skaters will compete on ice in front of a domestic audience in January. 

The Hungarian National Skating Federation organizes the ISU European Short Track Speed Skating Championships for 2020 in Debrecen, Hungary. The event will be held at the Főnix Arena on January 24-26, 2020. 

The event gathers together the best Short Track Speed Skaters of Europe and decides the European Champions of 2020.

Short track speed skating developed from speed skating events and it is mainly practised in the United States and Canada.

The International Skating Union (ISU) adopted short track speed skating in 1967, and World Championships in short track speed skating have been officially held since 1981. Now, the championships are held annually. 

The continent’s best short trackers are about to get ready for the start.
