The 26-year-old Az Utazó magazine announced its traditional public vote for the best tourism service providers of the past year among its readers and readers of Hungarian media beyond the borders of Hungary. The winner of the Water Park of the Year category this year was Aquaticum!
Aquaticum SPA complex, located in the beautiful natural environment of the Great Forest, which has been declared a health resort, offers thermal baths, a spa area and treatments based on medicinal water. Relaxation and recreation are guaranteed by a 4-star hotel, the year-round indoor Mediterranean aquapark, the wellness and sauna center, as well as the recreation area surrounding the spa.
The Aquaticum Outdoor Aquapark, which opened in 2020, is an unmissable part of the complex in summer, where undulating water surfaces, waterfalls, plant walls and water veils make it an ever-changing, shimmering experience center reflecting the surrounding forest.
The 8.5-hectare facility has 15 swimming pools, 8 slides and 12-metre-high sun terraces, but also a 1,900-square-metre children’s world, an outdoor sports area, a spa pool, a slow river with a gentle current, a diving pool with 200 square meters of water surface, a glass-bottomed relaxation pool (on top of the main building), a 50-metre and a 30-metre swimming and teaching pool.
In addition to the permanent water attractions and pools, the aquapark offers an exciting program of activities from time to time.

The beach experience is taken to a new level: you can relax in a bean bag, beach chair or jacuzzi while enjoying a long drink or lemonade to music provided by the DJ.
