“At the service of passengers since 1884”, or the 140th birthday of DKV Zrt. On 29 September 2024, the company will celebrate the anniversary with a very special open day for vehicle enthusiasts.
The event will take place at the premises at 3 Salétrom Street, and will be open to the public free of charge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day will start with a tram parade on Line 1, with all types of trams of DKV Zrt. Visitors will be able to see vintage vehicles from the various public transport companies, as well as old timer cars and motorbikes on display to give a retro feel!
DKV will be offering site tours, which require registration, and visitors will also be able to take exclusive nostalgic special services from the Open Day to the heart of the city. For those who prefer to travel back in time, an exhibition on the history of the company will provide a refreshing experience.
To mark the anniversary, DKV Zrt. will be offering free travel all day on 29 September!
