On December 31, Kossuth Square becomes the city’s biggest party center, where music, dancing, and lively celebrations await Debrecen residents and visitors alike throughout the evening. The programs start at 8 p.m. and provide an unforgettable atmosphere until the dawn of the new year.
The evening will be kicked off by Abrakazabra, joined by Jennifer Szirota, followed by DJ Sunny with his fast-paced transitions. One of the highlights of the concert program is Sugarloaf, who are guaranteed to get the audience moving. During the evening, Abrakazabra will be joined on stage by several guest performers: Roy and Szandi will perform the last big hits of the old year, while DJ sets will keep the momentum going.
At midnight, we can welcome the New Year together with the Himnusz, and then in the first hours of 2026, DJ Sunny’s rousing music will keep the party going until 2 a.m. The New Year’s Eve street party in Debrecen offers a great opportunity for people of all ages to say goodbye to the old year together in the heart of the city and welcome the new year in a cheerful atmosphere.

11:15 p.m.–11:55 p.m. – Abrakazabra + Szandi bring the last big concert of the old year.
12:00 a.m. – National anthem
12:00 a.m.–2:00 a.m. – DJ Sunny accompanies the first hours of 2026 with a rousing set.
