Anyukám, considered one of the best restaurants in the country, opened its Debrecen branch in 2021 under the name Pizza, Coffee, World Peace. The Dudás brothers, Szabolcs (chef) and Szilárd (manager), opened their first restaurant in Encs in 1995. They chose the name Anyukám mondta (My mother said) because of its familiar sound. The restaurant, which serves Italian-Hungarian cuisine, is one of the most famous restaurants in the country, and now the people of Debrecen can also enjoy its unique flavors, aromatic coffees, and Mediterranean atmosphere—all in the city’s main square, near the iconic Reformed Great Church.
