Terrace Opening Lounge Party & Stylish American BBQ Adventure
The beer garden at the five-star Divinus Hotel will be even more lively than usual this weekend. They’re hosting a barbecue party where everyone is treated to authentic American barbecue street food. The smoky aromas and juicy bites will be accompanied by the unparalleled atmosphere of live music, and later in the evening, DJ Németi will get the party going.
Mexican Festival at Frida Café
One of Frida Café’s most popular events, Cinco de Mayo is one of the best-known and most atmospheric celebrations of Mexican culture. On this occasion, Frida offers a unique and authentic Mexican experience, featuring traditional food and drinks, accompanied by a six-piece Mexican live band throughout the evening. This weekend, you too can experience this special atmosphere! Note: it’s worth reserving a table as soon as possible, as seats fill up quickly.
The Debrecen Wine Society invites wine lovers to a special tasting featuring April’s favorite wines, where fresh, exciting selections will be poured. From the Balaton region come the Skizo Sauvignon Blanc and the distinctive, unfiltered Gellavilla “Málnás” Tramini. From Spain, the vibrant Telmo Rodríguez Basa represents the international selection, but there will be no shortage of Hungarian classics either: alongside St. Andrea Örökké Egri Csillag Superior and Sauska Rosé, Heimann “Bátor” Szekszárdi Bikavér will also make its debut. The experience is made special by delicacies from the world’s most renowned wine regions.
A clean courtyard, a cool spot
Csinibaba Kultkert has launched a new series of events now that the warm weather is here. Almost every Saturday, three DJs take the stage one after another in the courtyard to set the mood for some laid-back dancing or hanging out with friends over a few beers. And while you’re at Csinibaba, be sure to try the kitchen’s specialties: the CsevapCsinit, the Jampec burger, or the Kultkert Steak sandwich.
Honey also has a series of events worth looking forward to every week. Every Friday, there’s a karaoke party with no cover charge, and brave participants who belt out a song even get a free beer. Within the iconic walls of the Old Vigadó, they’re throwing a massive party just like the nights spent partying at Egoist. A new venue, old friends, and plenty of dancing await you at this event. DJ Németi and Attila Bárány are familiar names who spin music that’s hard not to dance to.
The post-modern metal band was founded exactly 20 years ago. To celebrate, they’re organizing an anniversary tour, traveling from city to city to perform their best songs for cheering crowds. On Saturday, AWS arrives at the Water Tower, filling the venue and the hearts of their fans.
