Alongside the American stars announced in December, Jason Derulo and electro-pop duo The Chainsmokers, new foreign acts have been added to the line-up for this year’s Campus Festival. The daily breakdown has also arrived, and now we know when the home favorites will be arriving in Debrecen.
Campus has so far featured two global stars, one of the most successful R&B singer-songwriters, Jason Derulo, who has 65 million followers on TikTok, and electronic pop music’s inescapable duo The Chainsmokers. Meanwhile, the international line-up has seen the addition of several new names, two of which are now legends, with the much-anticipated return of The Dandy Warhols, who burst onto the scene with their hit ‘Bohemian Like You’, and the great New York metal scene band Life Of Agony, who brought to the table a landmark of the hard music of the nineties. There will be no shortage of musical delights to discover: the gorgeous-voiced British lyricist JC Stewart most recently collaborated with Armin Van Buuren on a song, and his catchy pop hits are destined for success. There’s the new Norwegian hopeful Amilost playing ethereal Nordic pop, an Italian reggae craze courtesy of Shakalab and, after a decade and a half, the Austrian bastions of Roma culture, the dance-until-the-clock-is-half-quick DelaDap.

The program is not yet complete, the festival’s electronic music line-up will be updated in a few weeks with new foreign artists, but until then, the detailed schedule of nine venues is already available on the website and app. Everyone is sure to find the genre of music they love at Campus, and this year the organizers have put even more emphasis on diversity, with a unique cultural and artistic program for next year’s event.
The Big Stage will feature Desh, Dzsúdló, Majka, ByeAlex and Slepp, Tankcsapda, and the original line-up of Ganxsta Zolee and Kartel, who will be celebrating their 30th anniversary. Other acts that have been absent for the last year or so will return to Campus, including Dead Money and Bagossy Brothers Company, and Quimby will be back in Debrecen after a long break.

The line-up includes all the festival favorites, with Beton.Hofi, Krúbi, Carson Coma, Parno Graszt, Elefánt, Wellhello, Pogány Induló, Co Lee, Road, Punnany Massif, Analog Balaton, AWS and Ossian. Irie Maffia celebrates its anniversary and Kriszitán Szűcs from HS7 will be performing a lifetime achievement concert.
There will be newcomers such as Filo, Moriones, HENN, Cserihanna, Kolibri and Éberkóma, but also decades-old, long-lost cult alternative acts such as Sub Bass Monster, Leukemia, Hollywoodoo and Kinopuskin. Local music will also play an important role, with a number of acts from Debrecen set to perform at the festival, which starts on 16 July.
In 2024, 121,000 people attended one of Hungary’s largest summer cultural events, and the festival, which will start on 16 July 2025, will be held in the unique surroundings of the Great Forest for four evenings. The tourism significance of the Campus Festival is clearly demonstrated by the fact that in 2024, Debrecen and its surroundings were completely full for four days, with more people visiting the city than usual, and with virtually 100% occupancy, so it is worth booking accommodation well in advance for the 2025 festival. Season tickets and day tickets are available at a discounted price until 31 March.
