Concert on World Music Day

“Music makes order out of chaos; rhythm holds the disparate together; melody makes the broken continuous; harmony reconciles the disparate.” (Yehudi Menuhin) On the initiative of the world-famous violinist, in 1975 UNESCO declared 1 October World Music Day. The Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra and young Debrecen talents will perform a concert on the first day of October to celebrate the day.

Haydn: Oboe Concerto in C major (Hob.VIIg:C1) 1st movement

Danzi: Bassoon Concerto in F major (No. 2), 1st movement
Performed by Mihály Bátor Dulai – bassoon (teacher: József Tóth)

Haydn: Piano Concerto in D major (Hob. XVIII/11), movements II-III
Performed by Mózes Dávid Roland – piano (teacher: Edit Laskay)

Crusell: Clarinet concerto in F minor (Op. 5), movement I
Performed by Máté Papp – clarinet (teacher: Tibor Áchim)

Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. IV (F minor), Op. 36.
