This year’s closing event of the Debrecen Flower Carnival will be an unforgettable surprise: on 20 August, our national holiday, the band Halott Pénz will give a free concert in Debrecen’s main square from 22:00.
Starting as a solo project, the Fonogram award-winning band Halott Pénz has become one of the best known and most popular bands in Hungary – last year, for example, they filled the Puskás Arena with tens of thousands of fans. The audience of Kossuth Square will be able to sing along with them hits such as Élnünk kellett volna, a Szétszeretlek, vagy a Darabokra törted a szívem.
This concert will be a fitting end to the carnival week – the last big party of the summer in the heart of Debrecen!

Every year, the Debrecen Flower Carnival brings together the biggest musical performances of the country in the city’s squares, parks and stages, and offers free programs for locals and tourists alike.
