The Amusement Park is delighted to announce that one of its most popular attractions, the Little Railway, inaugurated on 1st May 1960 and unmissable for six decades, will welcome its returning and new passengers on its 62nd birthday this May Day weekend, following a complete mechanical and aesthetic overhaul.
Following last season’s 22 million forint investment, the locomotive of the patina toy factory will undergo a complete mechanical and electrical overhaul, including the replacement of the domestically produced Csepel diesel engine, the complete lighting and switch system, as well as repairs to the wheels, brakes, bearings, and suspension.
The major works will be carried out to enhance the visitor experience, not only by giving the locomotive a new theme but also by giving the trains a new look, bringing the rich African wildlife and folk art of the black continent closer to the travelling public.
