Observed on the second Saturday in July, Miniature Train Day is a tradition worth building upon, so Zoo Debrecen and their partners have in store a whole weekend of thematic activities in addition to unlimited amusement park adventures for July 8 and 9.
Go visit Zoo Debrecen on July 8 and 9 for the best chance to learn all about the rich history of their Mini Train, operating continuously ever since they first opened over six decades ago, through a special photo exhibit. For those of you interested in an overview of narrow-gauge trains in Hungary, they will have an exhibit of postcards from the past decades as well as an introduction to Debrecen’s Zsuzsi Forest Train, model trains and locomotives and various other railway relics.
To top off the experience, a thematic arts-and-crafts corner awaits those of you feeling creative and of course all our amusement park rides will be available, with unlimited access granted by Magic Wristband Passes for 4900 HUF per person.
All events and activities are free of charge for visitors with an Amusement Park Entry Pass or Magic Wristband, available both on-site and online.
