A new visitor route has been added to the tourist offer of the Reformed Church of Debrecen. The route was presented on World Tourism Day on 27 September, and tickets for the guided tour will be available from 1 October.
Visitors to the Reformed Great Church on Kossuth Square, the symbol of Debrecen, will be able to learn about the history of Debrecen and the Reformed Church on a new hiking route from 1 October 2023, in addition to the two tourist routes available so far. Tour participants can discover the secrets of the Glass Pyramid, learn about the history of the Lícium Tree in Debrecen, walk among the statues in the Memorial Garden, have a quiet moment in the Prayer Room named after Péter Méliusz Juhász, and see the excavated ruins of St. Andrew’s Church in the Karakter 1517 Bookstore and Café.
