There comes a night every year that puts animals in the spotlight. The last Friday in August will see our 13th annual Night at the Zoo, this time offering you a taste of Central and South America’s vast biological and cultural diversity through a unique array of summer evening events and activities from 19:00 to 23:00.
Night at the Zoo is the best time for you to take a peek into the secret night lives of our residents amid the flickers of torchlight, with particular focus on recent arrivals like the seven new tarantula species in Zoo Nook, new mates for our blue-throated macaws and greater rhea, as well as Mulan the North Chinese leopard cub, our Cape porcupettes and the youngest residents of Catta Walkthrough. Introducing iconic residents like Asian lions and Amur tigers on their night prowl, Animals in Action can fill a whole evening, coupled with a Dare for those bravest and a journey through our rich past in the House of Knowledge full of zoo relics.

As per our decade-old tradition, there will be plenty of performances and activities for your to indulge in, such as a cultural and culinary journey through the New World, a carnival march, a capoeira performance, fire jugglers, a samba show, star-gazing, and glowing minerals and much more for a fantastic night out! Amusement Park adventures also await you for funs and thrills, with festive lighting for a number of our 24 rides, including the mighty Apollo-X and the beautiful Baroque Swing Ride.

Granting access to all events and activities, Night at the Zoo Passes are available for 3300 HUF per person, while Magic Wristbands granting entry as well as unlimited access to amusement park rides are available for 5900 HUF per person. For the very first time, VIP Passes are also available in limited numbers online for 9900 HUF, granting exclusive experiences. Getting your tickets in advance online for a quick and convenient entry is highly recommended, although both regular and Magic Wristband Passes will still be available on-site.
