October – Agóra Scientific Experience Center Program

In October, at Agóra Scientific Experience Center a series of educational programs entitled Sunday Science will be relaunched. In the one-hour sessions, participants can gain insight into the mysteries of different disciplines.

Now, on Sunday, for example, kids can experiment with strange-looking, weird materials that seem to disregard the laws of physics, both solid and liquid at the same time.

A new full-dome film is added to our planetarium program. The film Satelix, which presents the goals, results, and future of European satellites, will be shown simultaneously in almost ten planetariums of Hungary on October 9th.

Saturday, October 9th, 2021, 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Satelix – national presentation

What are satellites good for and what is the future of satellites? What about Hungarian spacecraft? How do space developments affect our lives? This afternoon, the full-domed film Satelix will be screened simultaneously in almost ten planetariums in Hungary. The film, with the participation of the staff of the TIT Budapest Planetarium and the Czech, Polish, Slovak, and German planetariums, presents the goals and results of European satellites and also reveals how space research affects our daily lives.

Sunday, October 10th, 2021, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
