Zoltán Mága’s 50 years 50 concerts series of charity concerts is coming to Debrecen soon.
The renowned violinist will give a free concert on Kossuth Square on 1 June together with star guests such as Gyula Bodrogi, Cecília Esztergályos, Ági Voith, Sándor Csikos, Gábor Koncz, Margit Bangó, Eszter Sümegi, Levente Molnár and Jennifer Mága.

The Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning artist played to a packed audience of 16,000 at the MVM Dome on 27 April. The concert, which brought together some 500 performers and contributors to celebrate the musician’s 50th birthday, was not only a united stand for peace in Europe and Israel, but also a celebration of his new charitable mission to help children in care and disadvantaged situations. In his birthday concert, the Pro Caritate Prize-winning violinist offered a million forints each to five foundations that support children’s recovery, development and future.

The 50 Years 50 Concerts mission will continue in the coming days and weeks in Debrecen and in the larger cities of Hungary, Transylvania, and Vojvodina. Zoltán Mága will be donating to charity at each stop of the series, with a special focus on supporting hospitals and the recovery of sick children.
