Celebrate the queen of flowers between June 1 and 2 at the annual Rose Festival held for the fifth time this year at Zoo Debrecen.
This unique horticultural experience will put all your sense to the test while you explore the vast diversity and utility of the Zoo’s roses, including many romantic, historical, tea hybrid, flower bed, park, bush, climbing and ground cover cultivars. You will even get to buy your very own beauty and get expert advice on how to best care for it.
In addition to an exhibit and the Zoo’s own rose beds in full glory, they will be offering you samples of various delicacies made from roses, like marmalades, honeys, teas and syrups, as well as rose-themed artisan’s products for sale and an arts-and-crafts corner for children. Make and capture your very own Rose Festival memories with the Rose Girls and unique photo opportunities and test your knowledge in the Rose Quiz for a chance to win a valuable prize.
All events and activities are free of charge for Zoo visitors.
