With the ringing of the final school bell approaching before summer, Debrecen Zoo and Amusement Park has announced that, due to its popularity last year, it will be organising exclusive Friday Evening Walks and the “Karszalag” Weekends every week during this summer break.
The Evening Walks, held in the magic of the summer gardens, will give participants a unique guided tour of the garden’s thousands of secrets and a behind-the-scenes look at the animals’ mysterious nightlife. With the help of zookeepers, they can meet the most special inhabitants in action: see the marabou’s fish dinner up close, watch the night raids of the large carnivores and discover the many special features of the Palm House.
This unique experience is available every Friday until 19th August, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., starting on the 17th June. A limited number of tickets are available: 60 tickets can be purchased online in advance for HUF 4,800 each, and a further 20 tickets are available on site for HUF 5,000 each.
For the first time this summer, the Carousel Weekend will take place on 18th and 19th June, returning every Saturday and Sunday until 28th August, where guests who buy a carousel ticket will have unlimited use of all the slot machines in the institution all day long – from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. The wristband passes are available for adults for HUF 4500 and for children for HUF 5500, either on-site or online.
