In February 2015, the Agora Science Center opened its doors to the public with the aim of promoting science in a playful and accessible way. With its unique interactive games, spectacular experimental demonstrations, educational and planetarium programs, Agora has since become unique in the Eastern region.

To celebrate the tenth birthday of the Agora, we are preparing an extraordinary program of events. On Saturday, 8 February 2025 and Sunday, 9 February 2025, the best of the natural sciences will take center stage, from the world’s most colorful animals to the greatest feats of space exploration and the most extreme sporting achievements to the oldest mathematics. Find out which animal holds the record for the longest distance run, how to deflect an asteroid and whether it’s possible to play football on Mount Kilimanjaro. During the birthday weekend, visitors can also see a demonstration of Agora’s most popular experiments and meet dancing-singing robots.

The Agora’s birthday programs are open to all with a discounted ticket price of 1900 HUF/person for children and adults.
