Galiba Children’s Festival

“There is no more beautiful animal than a goose, he does not need a footpath,” sings Galiba, the goose in György Schwajda’s Ludas Matyi transcript. It was in this playful form that one of the “youth education” programs of the Debrecen Flower Carnival was born, the aim of which is to address as many young people as possible with the largest art event in the city.

The Galiba Children’s Festival has become the favorite annual programs in Debrecen for families. The festival awaits those interested in the Great Forest Cultural Park (Nagyerdei Kultúrpark), and is this year celebrating its 60th birthday from 16th August.
