Between August 15–20, 2025, Nagyerdei Sörkert | Beer by Lake opens its gates once again, offering an exciting selection of Hungarian craft beers, diverse international brews, and the perfect atmosphere for carefree relaxation.
The atmosphere of Beer by Lake | Nagyerdei Sörkert is defined by its unique natural surroundings – the tranquil Békás Lake and the lush greenery of Nagyerdő Park provide a truly special setting for the event. As one of Hungary’s most prominent beer gastronomy festivals, it features well-known performers and popular food & beverage influencers, offering visitors high-quality entertainment and unforgettable experiences.
Guests can join themed tasting walks, where they explore a wide range of beers, breweries, flavor profiles, and the fascinating customs behind brewing traditions. Alongside the tastings, the event also includes live music performances and community games like beer pong and quizzes – all designed to create an atmosphere of carefree fun and relaxation.
Thanks to the growing number of visitors and the increasing interest from Hungarian craft breweries, the venue has doubled in size in recent years. These breweries join the festival by invitation, enriching the international malt and beer selection with local specialties. Each year, Beer by Lake attracts a wider audience, establishing itself as a key regional and national tourism destination.
