An exhibition celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Amusement Park will open on September 18 at 16:00 in the Forum shopping center. The Debrecen Amusement Park opened its doors on May 1, 1960, celebrating its six decades of existence this year
Visitors will be presented six decades of history of the amusement park in a form of an interactive exhibition from the 18th to 27th September.
Restoration work is underway in the amusement park’s workshop, as the institution still has rides and attractions made in the late 1800s, It is important that these are always maintained.
A presentation of this restoration process will be presented in the exhibition together with vintage bumper cars. Visitors can learn about the iconic and most popular ride and attactions that are in the park from its initial opening 60 years ago, and they will be guided through to the present and from there to what the future holds.
They can learn about the attractions that could be tried out in the amusement park in the future. With the help of modern technology, – still, images come to life, while the essence of the exhibition is to be interactive, to make those interested not only spectators but also participants of the anniversary experience.
