This year, Zoo Debrecen’s long-standing and one of the most heart-warming traditions, Christmas at the Zoo, will be celebrated on 27 December from 9:00 to 16:00 when the residents of the zoo and the enthusiastic zoo lovers come together to celebrate Christmas.
At the last event of the year, Zoo Debrecen will thank all adopters for their support this year in contributing to the well-being of the zoo’s residents and enriching their environment with free admission. At a foster meeting on the Samburu panoramic terrace, staff will tell them about the improvements to the enclosures and changes to the animals’ lives that would not have been possible without their help over the past year.
Animals in Action, which includes festive elements will be a full day of attractions but animal keepers will also be on hand to talk about their work in three locations and creative visitors can get creative in the Santa’s Craft Corner.
