The Great Forest of Debrecen, Hungary’s most beautiful forest, will be presented for the fourth time between 9 and 15 October 2023, under the title of Great Forest Week, by the Great Forest Society, the Debrecen Values Committee, Future of Debrecen, and several partners.
This year’s event will include sports programs, a cycling show, a Green Cinema, a round table discussion, guided nature tours, a family day, exhibitions, and a concert.

WORLD WEEK OF ANIMALS
Venue: Zoo Debrecen (Ady Endre út 1)
Self-guided programs every day:
– Discover our endangered species! – Free of charge for kindergarten, primary and secondary school groups
– Animal Rescue – free worksheet for groups and families
On weekdays, preschoolers and school children are invited to participate in zoo education sessions and Greening crafts.
