One of the most prestigious and largest festivals of Lake Tisza takes place on the last weekend of July each year at Lake Tisza. The three-day festival is a celebration of culture, classical music, and opera, combining music with the discovery of the natural values of the lake.
On the evening of the first day (Friday), the weekend kicks off with a grand gala evening. On the second day, Saturday, the festival continues with one of the most popular events on Lake Tisza: cycling around the lake. It’s not just a bike ride, as there will be classical music concerts in all the towns along the shore. On the last day of the festival, Sunday morning, the main event will be a run and then a boat ride, with tunes being sung in the magical embrace of the rushing canals and fairy roses.
