The world-famous British rock musician released his now-classic album Tubular Bells 50 years ago, which will be presented on the anniversary tour next February in Veszprém, Debrecen and Budapest.
The masterpiece, along with Mike Oldfield’s most popular compositions, will be performed by a group of nine musicians on 23 February 2024 at the Veszprém Arena, on 24 February 2024 at the Főnix Arena in Debrecen and on 26 February 2024 at the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena.
Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells – Live in Concert is a two-part evening in which Oldfield, best known as a guitarist, will be the musical director, arranger and producer. The conductor for the performance will be his close collaborator and collaborator Robin Smith, known from several other productions. The concert will be guest-led by Peter Müller’s Siamese AndFriends.
