The MODEM Center for Modern and Contemporary Art celebrates its 17th birthday in 2023 with a full-day event on 9 September. The birthday celebration includes guided tours, guest performances, pop-up skate jam, and live dj party.
Program:
- 3:00 pm – Guided tour with József Tasnádi and Szabolcs Süli-Zakar at the Re:Re exhibition
- 3:00 pm – Museum education session with Kitti Csőke at the Timelines exhibition
- 4:00 pm – Performance by János Mercs and Gábor Katona at the Re:Re exhibition
- 4:30 pm – MODEM-PAD art corner for children in the reception room
- 4:30 pm – Curatorial guided tour of the Timelines exhibition
- 5:00 pm – Re-skate – Pop-up skate jam at Baltazár Square & Pierci dj set
- 5:30 pm – Guided tour in English with Zsigmond Lakó at the Re:Re exhibition
- 6:30 pm – Guided tour in English with Krisztián Gábor Török at the Timelines exhibition
- 9:00 pm – Skateboard video projection – pop up exhibition and guided tour in the inner garden
- 9:30 pm – Door (dj set) in the inner garden
