The Hungarian Ice Hockey Association is organising the Night of Ice Rinks, the biggest winter sports event in Hungary, for the sixth time in 2022.
The MJSZ decided 6 years ago, in 2016, to launch a nationwide series of events similar to the highly successful Night of Museums and Night of Beaches, where everyone can skate. The 6th Night of Ice Rinks was cancelled in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic but will be held again on 22nd January 2022 under the name Allianz Night of Ice Rinks. On the penultimate weekend of January, more than 40 venues across the country, including Debrecen, Győr, and Veszprém – will be open to ice sports and ice activities enthusiasts.
The Night of Allianz Ice Rinks in Debrecen is joined by the Kossuth Square Mobile Ice Rink and the Debrecen Ice Hall. Both venues offer extended opening hours, discounted tickets, DJs, and an ice disco.
Programme of the Kossuth Square ice rink:
On the Allianz Ice Rink Night, the rink will open as usual at 8 a.m., followed by an ice disco from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Audrey and Dj William will be in charge of the good mood, and will commemorate the Hungarian Culture Day with some of the most successful Hungarian authors’ songs, in addition to the latest hits of today.

For those with a valid ticket or season ticket, wristbands can be collected at the main entrance of Ice Hall I.
Skate rental: 900 Ft/person, rental will be possible only in Hall I.
In skates, the transport between the two halls is only possible with the edge protectors on!
