On the evening of November 18th, 2022, the world-famous African-American Baptist monk Dwight Robson and his selected soloists are waiting for everyone to enjoy unadulterated joyous music in the Great Reformed Church.
During the one-and-a-half-hour-long concert, we can tune in to the Advent season with well-known songs such as “Hallelujah” and “Oh, Happy Day”, but we also have the opportunity to celebrate with other, popular and less well-known, but certainly beautiful, spiritually relevant tunes.
The gospel, steeped in the African musical heritage and the teachings of the Gospel, is a real gift to everyone who can witness the performance accompanied by pulsating spirituality, full of life and imbued with positive energies.

Dwight Robson’s African-American Baptist pastor’s band, The Golden Voices of Gospel, will fly all the members of the group from the USA to Europe, where they have been performing for many years in November-December-January. The orchestra is usually an instrumental vocal ensemble of 11-12 members, all of whom are African-American and are excellent musicians and soloists.
The word gospel means gospel, good news, and good tidings. It has evolved from American religious songs based on the gospel, the prayers of African-Americans’ desire for freedom and happiness, and spirituals, but it is all the more vibrant, pulsating, and rhythmic. Some gospel practitioners follow the tradition and sing exclusively in churches, while others, more free to push the boundaries, promote it in concert halls and clubs. It is clear from this that the gospel is now as secular as it is ecclesiastical.
