Go and visit Zoo Debrecen between June 10 and 11 for their annual Rose Festival, held for the fourth time as this summer opening event in celebration of the queen of flowers.
With a richer program than ever before, this unique horticultural experience will put all your sense to the test while you explore the vast diversity and utility of roses, including many romantic, historical, tea hybrid, flower bed, park, bush, climbing and ground cover cultivars. You will even get to buy your very own beauty and get expert advice on how to best care for it.
In addition to an exhibit and the zoo’s own rose beds in full glory, they will be offering you samples of various delicacies made from roses, like marmalades, honeys, teas and syrups, as well as rose-themed artisan’s products for sale and an arts-and-crafts corner for children.
