At this concert by the Lyra Symphony Orchestra of Debrecen will be able to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Nagyerdei Park, it is not every day that you can hear masterpieces by Haydn, Beethoven, Bizet, Sarasate, and Poldini played at the lakeside stage. This time, however, the audience will be able to witness how classical music will fill the Nagyerdei Park on Saturday evening. The title of the concert is in keeping with this atmosphere and is entitled Szabadban, which literally means “in the open“. The evening will feature violinist Zoltán Herczegfalvi and conductor József Balogh.

The Debrecen Lyra Symphony Orchestra, which has been in existence for 70 years, will include works by foreign composers in its repertoire, as well as works by Debrecen masters Kocsár, Kéler, and Bihari.
