On September 25th, 2022, the Wizz Air Debrecen Airport Run will be held for the fifth time in a special location, jointly organized by Debrecen International Airport Kft. and the Sportcentrum.
The aim of the race is to promote running and a healthy lifestyle among people who want to do sports and to provide families with an opportunity to relax in an exclusive environment. Participants will be able to get an insight into life at Debrecen airport and run where the planes usually fly.

The top 3 finishers in each distance and category, as well as in each women’s/men’s subcategory, will each be awarded a prize.
Programme
Opening of the gates from 7:00 a.m.
7:30 a.m.-8:15 a.m. – Dance performances
8:15 a.m. – Ceremonial opening
8:30 a.m. – Warm-up with RUBINT RÉKÁ
8:50 a.m. – First race: 5 km individual, 10 km individual race
8:50 a.m.-9:45 a.m. – Signing with Rubint Reka at the Pappas tent
9:45 a.m. – Warm-up with RUBINT RÉKÁ
10:15 a.m. – Second Race: 4 x 2.5 km relay, 2.5 km individual and family
11:45 a.m. – Announcement of results
12:30 p.m. – Air show, additional activities
1:30 p.m. – Wizz Air aircraft landing
