Debrecen, with its rich folk and craft traditions, is hosting the International Pottery and Debrecen Folk Crafts Festival for the 12th time.
The event will once again be attended by the country’s top folk artisans, who will not only showcase their handicrafts but also hold a market, so visitors can talk to them and even buy their products.

Thursday, 22nd September
5:00 p.m. – Opening of the XII International Pottery Festival competition exhibition, awards ceremony. Klára Kósa ceramic artist, and member of MMA akadémikusa.
The exhibition can be visited daily from 11:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. until 1st October.
Friday, 23rd September
10:00 a.m. – Opening ceremony. Dr. István Puskás, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen for the City of Culture, will give a toast and present the certificates and commemorative plaques.
10:00 a.m. a.m. – During the opening ceremony, the participants of the XII Debrecen Folk Arts and Crafts Festival will be presented by Erzsébet Hubert, President of the Folk Arts Association of Debrecen and Hajdú-Bihar County.
11:00 a.m. – Pottery and folk crafts fair and demonstrations, rehearsal of 7 Young Masters in training.
12:00 p.m. – Unveiling of the 7 Young Masters of the training, presentation of memorabilia 2:00 p.m.
