The Kodály Philharmonic and the Kodály Choir will continue their Zoo concerts during the weekend ahead – on June 12-13th. At the children’s concert “Animal Music” we can hear a selection of the “animal” music of the greatest authors such as Vivaldi, Haydn and Leó Weiner. The Kodály Choir “Animal…!” and the hilarious show will feature a whole host of special animals.

For the children’s concert entitled Animal Music, the Kodály Philharmonic selected and performed the most popular music from the “animal” music of the greatest authors (such as from Vivaldi through Haydn to Leo Weiner). The musical parts are connected by the poems of classical and contemporary Hungarian poets conducted by flutist Viktória Domján, conducted by Imre Kollár. This time the venue is also illustrious: the band will take place on the giraffe enclosure of the Giraffe House at Debrecen Zoo.

Bringing crickets and beetles together at the Kodály Choir zoo concerts… A whole host of special animals will appear in this merry show, and last but not least, they will even bark and moan if needed. There will be fried cats, unicorns, phoenix, crocodiles, zinc and many backyard birds. The program is presented and conducted by the conductor of the choir, Zoltán Kocsis-Holper.
The concerts can be viewed with a ticket to the zoo or amusement park!
