In the immediate vicinity of Nagyerdei Stadium, is the mist theatre, a one-of-a-kind attraction that beckons from spring through fall.
During the day, there is the mist fall, a water feature that alternates between a powerful jet of water propelled 30 meters into the air and a 30-meter wide curtain of fine water vapor. It provides a novel way to cool off in the summer heat. The challenge is to cross the stepping-stones that run through the basin beneath the mist fall. Kids love to play here at all times.
At night the Mist Fall is transformed into a Mist Theater, a movie screen upon which a Debrecen movie is projected.
The show is available from May until September.
