On 28th and 29th May, children will be the main attraction at the country’s first rural zoo and only classic amusement park, where a colourful programme and unlimited use of amusement machines will delight both the young and old.
The traditionally two-day celebration provides families plenty of active recreational opportunities and unforgettable experiences, including the chance to make sliders with Mónika Erdélyi, take part in the Aqua Manó Party, jump into a bumper car, and test their skills on inflatable games. They will also enjoy the Green Circle’s natural ecological playhouse, the sensitising activities of the Árboc Public Benefit Association, a performance by the Piruett Dance Studio, Maja’s book recommendations, a storytelling corner, a children’s day food stroll, and a gift fair.
Of course, the Zoo’s own celebrants, the stars of the Spring Baby Boom, will be getting their due attention – the country’s only sword-horned antelope calves and South African pups, the goatherd of Molli and Polli, the two grey cattle ewes, the zoo’s ciga lambs and the Bennett kangaroo cub, who has been regularly emerging from his mother’s pouch.
The Animals in Action programme will have something to offer at all times of the day, but the children’s day will also feature the theme park’s rides, including the revamped Little Train, which will be available for unlimited use in the second all-day wristband promotion of the year.
In addition to the normal admission, wristband tickets are available for adults for HUF 4500 and for children for HUF 5500 each at the cash desks of the institution during the event or – for convenient and fast access – online in advance.
