In the summer of 2024, the Debrecziner Gourmet Festival will be held for the 8th time in the Nagyerdő. Between 14 and 16 June, Hungary’s top restaurants and chefs will gather in Debrecen to showcase the heights at which the pinnacle of gastronomy in Hungary is now reaching.
Debrecen’s best restaurants will be joined by star chefs as guest exhibitors. Whether they are fine dining restaurants, bistros or food trucks, we can be sure that they are constantly looking for new ways to prepare their dishes with boldly spiced creativity.
Visitors to the three-day gathering will be treated to mouth-watering bites, exciting textures and unique ingredient pairings, as well as fantastic desserts, craft beers, quality wines and innovative cocktails.
The Debrecziner Gourmet Award, founded in 2018, will again be voted for by the public and will be awarded to the best exhibitor.
Such well-known and popular restaurant as Iszkor (Mályinka), Páva (Odorheiu Secuiesc), Bobajka (Tarcal), Almavirág (Derecske) and Horgonyzó (Tiszalök) have accepted the invitation to the festival.
There will be no shortage of quality music: on Saturday, Bea Palya and her band, and on Sunday, Zaporozsec will perform on the Debrecziner Gourmet stage.
