An exhibition of the pictures of photographer György Vértes entitled “A Rock Photographer’s Diary” can be seen in the H2O community space of the Great Forest Water Tower.
The exhibition shows the domestic pop-rock faces and bands of the last 40 years with the unique vision of the photographer György Vértes.
In the seventies and eighties, György Vértes was one of the most employed Hungarian photographers in Hungarian pop-rock music. He had a fairly close relationship with some of the most famous Hungarian bands. He photographed essentially all the performers of that era.
Those interested can see domestic and foreign photographs from the last twenty years, portraits of actors, musicians, and background shoots of the well-known photographer.
The exhibition is open until 18 September in the H2O community space of the Great Forest Water Tower.
The exhibition is organized by the National Cultural Fund’s Substitute Support Program for the Preservation of the Hungarian Light Music Heritage and the Light Music Service Office.
