In the spring of 2020, due to the pandemic restrictions, we presented an unusual Spring Exhibition: we invited local contemporary artists to a virtual exhibition entitled “Inner Silence”.
We invited applications for the exhibition from artists from Hajdú-Bihar County, from Debrecen, or from abroad, from those who are professionally engaged in visual art. Each artist sent a good quality image of one of his/her works without any technical constraints and without any judging.
The virtual exhibition was on display on the Kölcsey Centre’s website and Facebook page in May-June 2020. A total of 13,622 votes were received on the Facebook page, and the best online votes will be presented in a joint exhibition.
The following artists received the most votes:
Erika BALLA, Csaba FEHÉR, Zoltán GONDA, Ibolya HORVÁTH, Poppea JÓZSA, Csaba KOCSIS, János KOMISZÁR, Marcell NAGY, Imre RÁCZ, Alajos ZIMÁNYI.
The exhibition will be on display from 5th to 28th November 2021 at the Kölcsey Centre (Debrecen, Hunyadi u. 1-3.) during opening hours, daily from 10 a.m. to 6 .p.m., and until 7 p.m during evening events.
