The Magashegyi Underground, Ivan & The Parazol, András Lovasi, Péter Geszti, György Korda and Klári Balázs, Kowalsky meg a Vega, Elefánt and Esti Kornél will be in Debrecen, while the Kodály Philharmonics and the Kodály Choir will be performing jazz and tunes from the old times.

Debrecen’s first bicycle museum has opened.

Debrecen’s first bicycle museum from the collection of Attila Katona, a veteran bicycle collector and restorer from Debrecen, has opened.

The Debrecen news portal Dehir visited Attila Katona, a veteran bicycle collector and restorer from Debrecen, in the spring of this year, and found a row of very special bikes in the yard of his family home. The specialist has transformed many of them from a very poor state to near-original condition with hard work.

The best of 3×3 basketball will compete again on Debrecen’s main square.

The 3×3 World Championships will be held again on Debrecen’s main square between 24 August and 1 September.

Following the carnival week, the 3×3 World Championships will be held again on Debrecen’s main square between 24 August and 1 September. As last year, the arena on Kossuth Square will host three events in a row, with the U18 World Championship and the men’s and women’s professional teams’ cash prize tournaments.

Program of the Debrecen Flower Carnival

Between 15 and 20 August, the city will be in bloom and there will be countless events at the Debrecen Flower Carnival.

For nearly sixty years, Debrecen has been hosting Hungary’s biggest birthday party, the Debrecen Flower Carnival, which is a must-see for everyone. From 15 to 20 August, almost the entire city will be in bloom and there will be a host of programs in countless venues. There will be free concerts by Irie Maffia, the Bohemian Betyars, Magna Cum Laude and the Bagossy Brothers in the main square, a botanical and craft fair, a night-time bike parade, public dance performances, exhibitions, a beer garden and light painting. For the younger ones, the Galiba Children’s Festival will provide several days of entertainment in the amusement park.

The flower floats have been being prepared for Hungary’s most magnificent summer festival, the Debrecen Flower Carnival.

The flower floats have been prepared for some time in Debrecen to crown the Debrecen Flower Carnival, which this year is being organized with the main support of CATL. The carnival procession of Hungary’s most magnificent summer festival will be made up of more than 2,000 floats.

From 16 to 20 August, the decorated Carnival Music Tram will once again be running on Line 1.
