The Kölcsey Rooftop Bar has opened on the roof terrace of the Kölcsey Centre, where you can watch live matches of the 2024 European Football Championship. The bar features a led wall display, drinks, premium sandwiches and unrivalled views.

José Cura, the brilliant opera star of the 21st century, will be one of the guests of honour at the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra’s closing concert on 7 June, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The Argentinean world star will perform some of the finest arias from the operatic repertoire at the centenary concert in the Főnix Arena, where the other guest of honour will be world-famous Czech artist Ester Pavlu.

The Reformed Church of Debrecen offers free organ recitals on Sundays.

On 31 May, Hungary’s coolest outdoor aquapark, the Aquaticum Strand opens the season. On the first weekend after the opening, 1-2 June, a full day of activities awaits bathers. There will be craft activities, exciting family quizzes and fun music shows.
