This year, for the 11th time, the Sehenswert Film Festival will be screening recent films from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The focus of this year’s selection is on the world of strong women fighting for their rights and freedom: the opening film, Wunderschön (Beautiful), is about them. In some of the films, we are confronted with the difficulties faced by members of the LGBTQ community and people from migrant backgrounds in finding their place in society.
The following films will be screened in Debrecen, in the Apollo Cinema, in the Kertész Mihály Hall:
19th October 2022, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Beautiful (Wunderschön)
20th October 2022 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Corsage
21st October 2022 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Toubab
22nd October 2022 from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: The thrill of freedom (Monte Veritá)
The films will be available in the original language with Hungarian subtitles.
Admission is free and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis!
