The Debrecen Photography Club, founded on the 17th of February 1931, has been organising photographic programmes, exhibitions, and competitions for decades. This exhibition celebrates this long existence.
The exhibition will be opened by Attila Hupján, President of the Photography Section of the MAOE, and István Puskás, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen, responsible for cultural affairs, who will give a welcome speech at the event.
There will be performances by Tibor Áchim and Gábor Linzenbold (saxophone) and Klaudia Szilvia Tóháti (dance).
The exhibition, curated by photographer András Máthé, is open until 28th July at the Kölcsey Centre from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily and until 7 p.m. during evening events.
The artists in the exhibition are Albert Dremák, F. István Konyhás, András Máthé, Balázs Méhész, István Micskey, János Papp, István Süli, Patrik Tabár, György Vadász, József Varga, Zsolt Várkonyi, Hajnalka Veres, István Vida.
