For the children’s concert entitled Animal Music, the Kodály Philharmonic selected the most popular “animal” music of the greatest composers from Vivaldi through Haydn to Leo Weiner. The musical parts are connected by the poems of classical and contemporary Hungarian poets, conducted by flutist Viktória Domján and Imre Kollár. The location of the concerts are also unique. The band will be set up outside of the Giraffe House of the Debrecen Zoo.
A wide range of special animals will appear in the Kodály Choir concerts, – and they will even bark, roar and moan if needed. There will be cats, unicorns, phoenix, crocodiles and many backyard birds. The program is presented and conducted by the conductor of the choir, Zoltán Kocsis-Holper.
