The 2nd Debrecen Street Music Days will take place on the last weekend of July – between 28th and 30th July 2022 – from Thursday to Saturday. The 4-site jamboree will feature more than 20 bands and formations to set the scene for the summer evening. Among others, are the Kelet Brass Band, which was a great success last year, the Hollóének Hungarica, the Rius&Band from Oradea, and the Debrecen Garrison Orchestra will be among the other bands.
The venues of the 2nd Debrecen Street Music Days – Hal Köz, Ifiház (Youth House), the street in front of Borterasz, and the reviving Gambrinusz Köz.
On Saturday, 30th July, between 4 p.m and 9 p.m, DEMKI will also organise a Street Fair with a full repertoire of handicraft products on the latter site, in cooperation with CSAK Design and CIHA Association.
The list of events doesn’t end here, because on Sunday 31st July, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., the Caribbean atmosphere will be in the Hal Köz. DEMKI and SeVeN will be holding a street dance with Team Gusto Cubano, a 10-piece band playing salsa and bachata music, which has already been a big hit in Debrecen in the summer.
