Kodály Philharmonics’ Latest Concert + Photo Exhibition

The concert will open the Kodály Choir’s musical photo album, an exhibition where works that focus on the brilliance of light, which is purifying and hopeful will be presented. How can an essentially visual phenomenon be expressed and depicted in sound? Can music be used to depict light overcoming darkness, or the glow of the stars?

How does a composer make us experience hope and purification through a choral piece? Through this concert and photos, this event will seek answers to these questions through the works of composers from different eras.
