The traditional Spring Exhibition, held in Debrecen, is once again renamed the Hajdú-Bihar County Exhibition – due to the epidemic situation. This exhibition is a forum of local artists professionally cultivating fine, photographic, and applied arts. In the series, painting and graphics/photography are presented in a biennial shift/split, in 2021, the emphasis is on painting – although sculpture is presented every year.
We expect the following works:
– works made with classical painting techniques (oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, etc.)
– procedures that can be classified as applied arts, e.g. textiles, felt, enamel, ceramics, etc.
– techniques that go beyond traditional solutions and broaden the possibilities of expression in a way that is related to painting;
– plastic and installation works.
77 artists have submitted 178 artworks to the competition, of which the jury recommended 89 artworks from 71 artists for the exhibition.

The exhibition will be on view until October 31st, 2021, during the opening hours of the Kölcsey Center (Debrecen, Hunyadi u. 1-3.).
Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and in the case of evening events until 7:00 p.m.
