Accor continues to expand its portfolio in Hungary: the Hotel Lycium in Debrecen joins the Handwritten Collection, a select collection of hotels offering unique accommodation. Opening in October, the hotel will be the first Handwritten Collection hotel in the country, bringing a unique charm to the region’s hospitality industry.

The Russian Music Festival will be held for the seventh time in three cities and five venues, under the artistic direction of pianist Marcell Szabó. The theme of this year’s festival is “Friendships”, which will give an insight into the personal lives of great Russian composers and the sources of their inspiration. Last April, Lufthansa switched to larger aircraft in Debrecen, and now the number of flights is being increased.

(DV Zrt.) has closed the tender procedure for the lease of Hotel Lycium**** Debrecen, which was announced on 28 October 2024 for a period of 10+5 years.

According to the Israeli airline, the first flight between Tel Aviv and Debrecen will start on 24 April. The flights will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, according to the announcement.
