Viktor Orbán who was Prime Minister then, as he is now, reflected at the time saying that “the brand new main square was also a sign that a strong, independent, free, prosperous and educated country was being built”.

(more…)In this year’s competition of the National Confederation of Hungarian Confectioners, the chilly, blackberry, chocolate masterpiece named Bíborka became the ice cream of the year.
In this year’s competition of the National Confederation of Hungarian Confectioners, the chilly, blackberry, chocolate masterpiece named Bíborka became the ice cream of the year.
The ice cream was made by Gergő Fehér, a confectioner from Békéscsaba. Behind Gergő Fehér, Andrea Koncz was the second from the Sissi Ice Cream Parlor in Gödöllő with his balsamic fried blueberry, soft goat cheese ice cream, and Brigitta Márton was the third with the ice cream made with sweet sour cream and Cumberland sauce from the Bagaméri Ice Cream Parlor in Balatonfüred.
We hope that we can soon taste the ice cream of the year in Debrecen, but until we can get unforgettable taste experience in these places:
